Fly from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi, there are many flights a day on Malaysian Airlines or Air Asia.
Please note Malaysia Airlines arrive and depart from KL International airport. Air Asia arrives and
departs from LCCT airport. It is approximately 30 minutes between airports and minibuses or taxi’s
are available.
Take a speed boat from Langkawi to Koh Lipe (1hrs) which can be arranged by a hotel or travel agent in Langkawi.
The speedboats only run from Nov to end of April. Alternative route from May to Oct is via Satun, see speedboats
times below.
There is a one hour time difference between Malaysia and Thailand (Malaysia is one hour ahead).
